Our Advent season begins this year on November 26th, in which we will explore the five senses throughout the holiday – Sights, Taste, Sounds, Touch and Smells. We hope that you feel like family during the holiday season. Here are some of the events happening around the church during the Christmas season:
Hanging of the Green

Join us for Sunday morning worship as we take a new spin on communion and enjoy several different types of bread from our congregation.
The holiday season is difficult for some of us. If you find yourself struggling, we invite you to this service that acknowledges grief and provides a reminder of hope and joy.
United Methodist Women Christmas Festival
The UMW Christmas festival will be Saturday, Dec 10 from 9am – noon. Cookies, candies, and other goodies will be sold by the pound. There will also be a drawing for a beautiful quilt – tickets for the quilt are $1 each or 6 for $5. All donations will benefit local charities.

A special Sunday morning service of scripture and song to celebrate the holiday season.
Touch of Christmas
Join us for the fourth Sunday of Advent, we will read scripture from Luke 1: 39 – 55
Christmas Choir Concert
Get into the holiday spirit with a concert filled with Christmas music! Grace UMC will feature a trombone quartet from ASU as well as the Grace choir and bell choir. It’s a free event and there will be hot chocolate and cookies after. We hope you will join us for this Spirit-filled event.
Christmas Eve Services
9am– Our morning service will start our Christ-filled day. Join us for a special Christmas message and carol along with us as we study scripture from Matthew 1: 18-24.
5pm– Our family Christmas Eve service embraces joyful noise of our children as we hear the familiar story and see it through their eyes.
9pm – This service of communion and carols allows us to celebrate the Christ child who was born and the Christ who is still among us.
11pm – Our newly-added late night service is a chance to welcome Christmas Eve with communion and song. Come worship with us in this service of candlelight, prayer, and a quiet persistent joy.
